Synonyms: Royal Jelly Acid, 10-HDA, 10-hydroxy-delta 2-decenoic acid, (E)-1 0-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid, Trans 10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid.

10-Hydroxy-2-Decenoic Acid is an active substance which exists only in royal jelly nature. It is also called 10-HDA or royal jelly acid. Bee Hawaiian products actually have anticancer, skin care and antibacterial properties.

10-HDA possesses strong inhibition to the growth of cancer cells, namely transferable AKR Leukemia, TA3 breast cancer, and others. Recent studies show that 10-HDA effects immune-regulation and anti-cancer activities.

10-HDA’s strong cancer fighting properties were first witnessed by a study published in Nature in May 1959. The scientists mixed 10-HDA with active tumor cells taken from cancerous mice. 10-HDA suppressed mouse leukemia and inhibited the formation of tumors.

These results have been confirmed during a two-year period and show a striking effects. Two groups of mice received tumor cells. The  10-HDA group remained alive and healthy more than 12 months after inoculation, while the control mice received the same number of tumor cells without 10-HDA died within 12 days.

10-HDA has a strong antibacterial property
